We’re helping donors double their impact by matching donations on December 3rd.

OTTAWA, ON, November 29th –

“Nurses help us during the most amazing and difficult points in our lives, and Canadians are grateful for it.”

This Giving Tuesday on December 3rd, donations to the Canadian Nurses Foundation (CNF) will be matched by Ottawa-based Yardstick Assessment Strategies. Funds will support scholarships and grants for Canadian nurses. By partnering with Yardstick Assessment Strategies, CNF can help support even more education and research projects by doubling the first $10,000 in donations.

Past scholarship winners include Terri Kean, Nurse Practitioner and faculty member at the University of PEI: “This award leaves me speechless. Sometimes we work away on our own…trying to do the right thing for those in our care – never expecting anyone to notice – such is the spirit of nursing.  However, to be recognized in this way sends a strong message that nurses are doing incredible things to improve patient outcomes … each and every day.”

President and COO of Yardstick Assessment Strategies, Dr. Isabelle Gonthier, is proud of the partnership: “I believe with my whole heart that supporting education and research is a great privilege. Nurses help us during the most amazing and difficult points in our lives, and Canadians are grateful for it. Every single dollar is well-spent on these healthcare professionals.”
